George and Ethel (KNIGHT) STILL will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary at a reception from 2 to 4 p.m., Oct. 3, at the Rideta Electric Cooperative Building, Mount Ayr.

They couple was married Sept. 25, 1943. They have lived in the Mount Ayr area where they have been engaged in farming. Ethel has been working at Clearview Nursing Home in Mount Ayr for the past 19 years.

They are the parents of one son, Merrill STILL of rural Redding. They have four grandchildren: Tawnya and Adam STILL of rural Redding, Teresa STILL of Mount Ayr and Lisa SAXTON of Skidmore, MO; and two great-grandchildren, Mackinzie and Levi BRINNER of Mount Ayr.
