THE REV. W. J. STEWART.

WINTERSET, Ia., Feb. 23. - The Rev. Walter J. STEWART has resigned the pastorate of the United Presbyterian church here to accept a call to Oskaloosa, where he will be installed as pastor March 4. The Rev. STEWART came here in 1914, and in addition to his church work he has been a leader in community activities. He was especially active in Red Cross and other patriotic service during the war period. Monday night he was tendered a farewell reception in which representatives of the whole community took part.

NOTE: Rev. W. J. STEWART was the minister of the United Presbyterian Church at Redding from 1907 to 1914. Then he went to the pastorate at the Winterset church.
