Lyle and Mildred Nichols
Couple to celebrate 60th anniversary
Mr. and Mrs. Lyle NICHOLS of Mount Ayr will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary August 3, 2005. The couple was married
in 1945 in the First Methodist Church of Atchison, KS.
Lyle NICHOLS served in the South Pacific in World War II and
later was an employee of the Rideta Electric Co-op in Mount Ayr, retiring after 39 years of employment.
The couple are the parents of Kurt NICHOLS of Dallas, TX and Chris NICHOLS of Cabot, AR. They have four grandchildren,
Brooke and Bailey, the daughters of Kurt and Lisa NICHOLS, and Adam and Lindsey NICHOLS, children of Chris and Karen
NICHOLS. The families of Kurt and Chris NICHOLS will be visiting in Mount Ayr the weekend of August 6 to honor
