Grace Moser Celebrates 90th Birthday
Ten former students gathered for lunch on February 11 to celebate the 90th birthday of Mrs. Grace Moser, who
served as Mount Ayr high school home economics instructor from 1946 through 1961. Memories of her classes as well as skills
taught by Mrs. Moser and used in the ladies' lives to date were recalled. It was remarked that this event was the "golden
apple" tribute to this special teacher. Joining Mrs. Moser and nancy Willey, who planned the party, were B arbara Bower,
Ellen Powell, Theanna Simpson, Pauline Wollums, Norma Lee Jones, Judy Mercer, Marie Burmeister, Marie Still and Camille
Jackson.
