Combine final church service for Brantner
The United Baptist-Presbyterian Church in Mount Ayr would like to invite the community to a celebration of the ministry
of Pastor Peter BRANTNER to be held Sunday, Oct. 17 at 10:30 a.m. BRANTNER is retiring from active ministry in
the parish and is going into a private counseling practice. A unity service will begin at 10:30 a.m. with the parishes
of Platte Center, Tingley and Mount Ayr worshiping together at the Mount Ayr church on North Polk Street. Following
the morning service, a potluck will be served. After the meal, there will be a time for each church to contribute to
the celebration through music, personal remarks and skits. A memory book is being prepared to give to BRANTNER from each
congregation. If anyone would like to contribute a page of pictures and memories, you may call Faye HOWIE [phone number]
or Nancy SACKETT [phone number] for more details. The United Baptist-Presbyterian Church congregation would like to
invite the public to this special day.
