Three 50-year members of the Rebekah Lodge in Mount Ayr
were
present to be honored by the Lodge at a dinner meeting at the Shamrock Cafe Monday.

50-year Rebekah members honored
The Mount Ayr Magdalene Rebekah Lodge #520 honored its 50-year members June 8 at a noon luncheon at the Shamrock
Cafe. Ada ROGERS, Lorene COMBS and Velma KIMBALL were present to receive special 50-year membership pins and had
tribute paid to them. All are past Nobel Grands and have given much leadership to the organization. Another 50- year
member, Lois MOSBARGER of Bettendorf, was unable to be present. Wilma ELLIS of Mount Ayr was Noble Grand at the time
of their initiation. The program included poems give by Editha OBERMEIR, Vergene SMITH, Dorothy WURSTER, Lavon
THOMAS and Vesta LAMB. Others who attended, not previously mentioned, include:

PERLEFEIN, Mildred PUTNEY, Iona GROVES, Grace SALTZMAN, Sadie BLACK, Hazel BLACK, Orpha REYNOLDS, Ruth SAVILLE,
Inez FISHER, Vesta SHAHA, Ruth EVANS, Mrs. ELLIS, Ermil HAINLINE, Ruth FAUST, Annabelle KNIGHT, Milly EIGHMY and
Maxine KIMBLE.
