Bob BENNETT retired as Ringgold County Sheriff after a 17-year career in fulltime law enforcement and another 10 years as a sheriff's posse member. He handed over the reigns to his grandson and current Sheriff Mike SOBOTKA.

Wes ZOLLMAN told of Afghanistan experiences during his visit on leave. Specialist ZOLLMAN was home on leave from Afghanistan where he was stationed since May. ZOLLMAN was a 2003 graduate of Mount Ayr Community High School.
