At a regular meeting of the Mount Ayr town council, Frank F. WILSON was appointed a member of the board of trustees of the Mount Ayr Public Library to succed H. C. BEAR, who presented his resignation after his appointment to the State Board of Social Welfare.

TINGLEY - Newly elected members of the Legion Auxiliary are Mrs. Edith McINTOSH, president; Mrs. Emma McCLURE, vice-president; Mrs. Marie TROXELL, secretary; Mrs. Vey HOGUE, treasurer; Bertha HOGUE, chaplain; Mrs. Ethel ALEXANDER, sergeant-at-arms; members of the board: Mrs. Ella ROUSH, Mrs. Anna HENDERSON and Mrs. Clara BALL.

Two hundred and fifty dollars has been fixed as the amount to be charged by the town of Mount Ayr for Class B permits, which is an increas of $50 over last year's fee.
