Incumbent Becky STAMPS in director district #1 and new board member Melinda ENGLAND in director district #2 were named to terms on the Diagonal Community school board by voters Tuesday.

There was only board seat up for election in the Clearfield Community school district board of directors and Keith BENNETT was voted in again there.

A special 25th anniversary open house at the Ringgold County Pioneer Center Museum in Ellston is scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 27. A committee headed by Nan DERSCHEID has been working on this project. The annual fifth and sixth grade Iowa history tours will be held Tuesday and Wednesday, Sept. 15 and 16. Seven area schools are expected to participate.
