Arlene SOBOTKA of Ringgold County joined 100 other inductees into the Iowa 4-H Exhibit Building at the Iowa State Fair on Sunday, August 22.

Two Ringgold County area drivers are in the running for the title in the hobby stock racking at the Adams County Speedway in Corning with one week of racing to go. They are Les ELLIOTT of Diagonal and Jason PARKER of Clearfield.

Dennis ELLIOTT of Mount Ayr won a side-by-side duel with Justin BONEY to take the title in the A modified racing at the Northwest Missouri State Fair in Bethany, MO, Monday night.
