D. L. SMITHSON was elected chairman of the board of supervisors of Ringgold county at the reorganization meeting held Tuesday. Other members are John R. NOLAN, who served as chairman last year and who this year commences his second term in office and Ernest BASTOW, who starts the second year of his first term. SMITHSON is serving the third year of a second term.

Stockholders of the Ringgold Mutual Telephone Company re-elected Raymond R. BUCK and Will KLING as directors at the annual meeting held Tuesday afternoon at the company's office in Mount Ayr. Mr. BUCK, who has been appointed to fill the vacany on the board caused by the death of J. A. BEARD, was elected for a full term of three years. Mr. KLING was also elected for the regular three-year term. At the reorganization meeting of the board, all officers were re-elected as follows: J. S. BUCK, president; B. A. SALTZMAN, vice-president; Donald SMITH, secretary; and Cora ROBINSON, manager and treasurer.
