RETOLD OLD NEWS

Mount Ayr Record-News
Mount Ayr, Ringgold County, Iowa
Thursday, December 5, 2002

Lisa Wilson, Mount Ayr Record-News

As the Mount Ayr Record-News goes to press, Dr. Peggy WHITSON was scheduled to return to Earth, with a landing at the Kennedy Space Center on Wednesday, Dec. 4, if the weather permits. Dr. WHITSON already has more experience than most space travelers, but there's one thing she has yet to experience -- re-entry and the return to Earth.

The tour of homes will begin at the restored Depot Museum this year, where the annual Festival of Trees will be on display. Homes to be visited include the Janis and Larry DENNEY home, Jack and Sandy MAIN home, Jim and Jane UHLENKAMP home, Clearview Estates and Mount Ayr United Methodist Church.

OBITUARIES in December 5, 2002 Mount Ayr Record-News:

D. Arlene REYNOLDS   Diana WEGNER

Transciption by Sharon R. Becker, March of 2013
