Trial informations were filed in Ringgold County district court December 20, accusing Garry SMITH and Terry SMITH
of rural Lamoni with attempt to commit murder, a class B felony. Kevin O'MAILIA of Mount Ayr was injured when he
was hit by a bullet while riding in a pickup truck on a Mount Ayr street November 5 when the event allegedly happened.
Father David POLICH of Maloy was one of 14 people arrested for trespassing December 28 at Offut Air Force Base near
Omaha at an annual protest at the installation by pacifists.
