It wa a cold greeting the world gave little Jessie Ann TULL, born at 12:54 a.m. Jan. 1 at Ringgold County Hospital, first
baby of the new year. Her parents are Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Lee TULL of Diagonal. Dr. Roy FELL was the attending physician.
Marietta EIGHME of Tingley, winner of a weight guessing contest involving Governor Robert Ray, has received an invitation
to a Terrace Hill reception on Jan. 11.
An open house will honor Mr. and Mrs. Roy DAVENPORT who will observe their 50th wedding anniversary.
Clyta HIGHTSHOE and Victor THOMPSON were united in marriage on New Year's Day, Jan. 1, 1978 in the First Christian
Church on Mount Ayr with Rev. Doris KINTON officiating.
