Ten men were ordered to report January 25, for physical examinations by Ringgold County Local Board No. 13-81, of the Selective Service System. They are Richard Palmer and Erwin E. May, residents of Des Moines; Allen L. Hudson, a transferee; Gary L. Webb, Steven R. McNutt, Gary W. Son, Michael D. Lynch, Robert G. Baker, Samuel J. Adams and James K. Hanks.

Patty Saltzman, sophomore of the Mount Ayr Community high school, was chosen as "artist of the month" for January because of her superior art talent.

A demonstration lecture sponsored by the Atomic Engery Commission on atomic energy and its uses will be presented at the high school on Feb. 8.
