RETOLD OLD NEWS

Mount Ayr Record-News
Mount Ayr, Ringgold County, Iowa
Thursday, March 01, 2007

by Chanse Hall, Mount Ayr Record-News

It's a significant bump in the road to the completion of the Gooseberry Lake project but by no means the end of it. That was the word this week from Dave Beck from the state Natural Resource Conservation Service about federal funding for the Gooseberry Lake project in particular and the East Fork of the Grand River watershed in general.

State senator Cecil Dolecheck of Mount Ayr had a list of legislative issues that were of concern of their own to raise questions about.

A total of 92 of the Angus cows listed in the American Angus Association's 2007 Pathfinder repoft are owned by Ringgold county owners.

Obituaries in this issue:

Amie Marie Bast    Betty Louise Dusenberry
Dale Duane Gaule    Clair B. Heyer

Unless the name is highlighted as a link,
I don't have a copy of the obituary.
Please contact the Mount Ayr Record-News (link below) for a copy of the obituary.
Please include the date (see above) when requesting a copy of an obituary.
Thank You!! - Sharon R. Becker
