John Thomas WORTHINGTON enlisted in the U.S. Navy on December 6, 1960. He was stationed at the U.S. Navy Training
Center in San Diego, California. He served aboard the destroyer USSTrathen which participated
in Exercise "Flying Moor" October 21-26 in the eastern Pacific. John returned to his home in Mount Ayr on
November 19, 1963.
