Marine Private First Class Stephen L. WOOD, whose wife, Nancy, is the daughter of Marion THURMAN of Redding, Iowa, has been
promoted to his present rank while serving with 1st Marine Division, Marine Corps Base, Camp Pendleton, Calif.
He joined the Marine Corps in July, 1978. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy W. WOOD of Kellerton.
