Department of the Air Force civilian Shawn P. O'MAILIA has been promoted as the institutional effectiveness and research
chief at the Air University, Maxwell Air Force Base, Gunter Annex, Montgomery, AL. O'MAILIA is the son of Bob and
Mary Ann POTTORFF of Mount Ayr. He is a 1989 graduate of Mount Ayr Community high school, received a bachelor's degree
from Teikyo Westmar Univesity in LaMars in 1994 and a master's degree from Auburn University, Montgomery, AL in 1997.
