CPL JACK EUGENE MARSHALL

CPL Jack Eugene Marshall was born on July 19, 1929. During the onset of the Korean War, CPL Marshall was serving as a member of Company A, 1st Battalion, 32nd Infantry Regiment, 7th Infantry Division of the U.S. Army. He was listed as Missing in Action while fighting the enemy in North Korea on December 2, 1950, and was presumed dead on December 31, 1953.

CPL Marshall's remains have not been recovered although a family DNA sample has been obtained.

A memorial stone was erected at Rose Hill Cemetery, Mount Ayr, Iowa, in CPL Marshall's honor.
