Thomas FOX was born March 11, 1846. He enlisted as a private on February 5, 1864 at the age of 18 years and was assigned to Company K of the 25th Iowa Infantry, and transferred to Company A of the 9th Iowa Infantry. He was mustered out of service on July 18, 1865 at Louisville, Kentucky. Thomas FOX died at the age of 53 years and 20 days on April 1, 1899. Interment was at Platte River Cemetery near Maloy, Ringgold County, Iowa.
