JOHN H. BARBER

John H. BARBER entered the Armed Services on November 30th of 1966, and was sent to Fort Bliss, Texas for basic training. He then was sent to Ft.Leonard Wood, Missouri for AIT schooling. He was a Cam Rahn Bay, Vietnam for one year, serving as a construction engineer.

After his tour of Vietnam, John was sent to Fairbanks, Alaska for two years.

John was given an honorable discharge from his duties with the 808th Engineers Battalion with the rank of SP/5 on October 1, 1968.
