LEROY FULLER

 

Leroy FULLER, husband of Elizabeth (MATHANY)

Civil War Flags.jpg Leroy FULLER was born June 10, 1834 in Trumball County, Ohio, and married Elizabeth MATHANY on April 15, 1858. Leroy was a farmer and a carpenter. He enlisted as a Private on September 29, 1862, and was assigned to Company C of the 125th Ohio Voluntary Infantry, serving with the regiment throughout the Civil War. Leroy was mustered out of service on October 7, 1865, at Camp Chase in Ohio. In 1884, Leroy moved his family consisting of wife Elizabeth and five sons to Mount Ayr, Ringgold County, Iowa. Leroy died at the home of his son Burton L. FULLER in Wichita, Kansas, on December 20, 1916, and was interred at Rose Hill Cemetery, Mount Ayr, Ringgold County, Iowa.
