Watterson Reunion

The annual Watterson Reunion was held September 19, 2015 seven miles south of Mount Ayr at the Joe and Nora Fuemmeler hunting facility. This year's reunion was dedicated to the loving memory of Junior's late wife, Katherine (Webb) Wion.

Those attending from Iowa were host Junior Wion, Irma and Neil Johnston, Gerald and Bonnie Summa, Margaret and Laurance Bishop, Alan Taylor, Pat Weddle, Olive Davis, Theola Weeda, Dorothy Saville, Fred and Mary Shields, Phyllis Kimball, Jeremiah and Eleesa Murphy, Phillip and Bonnie Godden, Phyllis Miller, Mike Avitt, Bev and Walt McGinnis, Twila Simon, Joe and Nora Fuemmeler, Charles and Vicki Jeanes, Kevin James, Spence, Becky, Tyler and Riley Jones, Ron and Ren Rauch, and Dave and Shirley Hightshoe.

Those attending from out of state were Erwin "Tom" May from Chula Vista, CA, Maxine Washburn, Joe, Carl and Nicholas Washburn, Ed and Delores Hulett, all from Hatfield, Missouri; and Mary Ellen Kimble from Grant City, Missouri.

The weather was most agreeable this year and old friends enjoyed a delicious potluck and pleasant memories of "old Watterson." Host Junior Wion and the gang hope to see you next year.
