The "Piper" and Annie HAIDSIAK reunion was held July 31, 2011 at the Blockton community hall. The attendance number of 108 beat the temperature and heat index reading. Ticket sales were brisk and rewarding for the hand-crafted coverlet featuring "long-ago" family pictures and the embroidered names of the "10 kids." This was the result of the ingenuity and talents of Amber HANNA and Kristi HANNA. The lucky recipient was John HAMMER.

A replica wallhanging was the door prize and was won by Zoe BUCHER.

The attendance pool was won by Jack STAUFFER who generously added it to the donation to the upcoming Blockton Sesquicentennial in honor of the HAIDSIAKS.

With reverence and grace Gary WILLIAMS gave thanks and blessings for the bountiful food and for those present and absent. Laughter, lively talk, picture taking and Kristi HANNA bonding procedure by each family was a great help in sorting out who belonged to whom.
