The annual reunion of the HAIDSIAK clan was held Sunday, July 24, 2006 at the Blockton Community Hall. Group pictures taken on Sunday, July 24, in the years of 1932, 1949 and 1957 were displayed on the reistry table. There was also a tiered glass showcase containing mementos that had belonged to "Piper" and "Annie." Since it was the 122nd anniversary birth date of the beloved matriarch, several shared memories of this little, feisty woman and her deep abiding faith.

George HAIDSIAK led a song fest and Vera CARSON gave the table prayer before the potluck dinner.

The afternoon was spent visiting, picture taking and browsing through the genealogy books compiled by Lisa CRATER and Mary LONGE. Games were played including three-legged races (which were comprised of those still young in heart) and a water balloon toss (250 of them) that sort of turned into a water fight. Many requests were made to Buster HAIDSIAK to make some unusual balloon shapes.

Prizes were given for various events. Rodger DUKES won the attendance number pool and Arch ARCHER won the door prize.

The next reunion will be held on July 23, 2006 at the Blockton Community Hall.
