The 26th annual CALDWELL reunion, descendants of David H. and Luella GRAHAM CALDWELL, was held August 1, 2004, at the Waubansie center in Brenton. Seventy people from seven different states were there to enjoy the potluck dinner. Afterwards there was much visiting and picture taking.

There were two new births and two marriages since last year.

The birth of a great-grandson to Ruby and Ken SCHOONOVER, Brandon Brian SOLIS was born to Michelle GATEWOOD SOLIS.

Also, a great-grandson to Jack and Becky CADWELL. Zane Kenneth THIELE to Aaron and Cassie THIELE on May 16, 2004.

The marriage of Ryand HUGHES and Vanessa KNAPP (grandson of Roena HUGHES).

Also, the marriage of Cindy LOMBARDINO and Duane PANT on October 17. 2003. Cindy is the daughter of Evalyn KNAPP.

Gifts were given for the oldest, Luella YOUNG; for the one who came the farthest, Roena HUGHES of Oregon; and the youngest member present, Brynn NICKLE, daughter of Stasia and Nathan NICKLE.

Attending for the first time were Ryan HUGHES from Illinois; Chris HUGHES and Darcie ABBOT from Wisconsin; and Dick HUGHES from Florida; grandsons of Roena HUGHES.
