Baker Reunion
The descendants of the late Doyle and Laura BAKER met Sunday, September 5, 2004 at the Judge Lewis Park for
their first reunion with 38 attending for a potluck dinner. The next reunion will be July 17, 2005. Those attending
were Norma BAKER WEBB and Bill, Cindy GOLIGHTLY and David KEIFER of Adel. Tonya and Jim LAMB, Haley, Austin and Brandon of
Guthrie Center and Janell TAYLOR of Des Moines. Iona BAKER TRIGGS; Mark and Lynda TRIGGS, Adam, Amy, Sheldon, Shane
and Bryson; Merle TRIGGS, Melonie and Tyler KNAPP, Alissa, Trisha and Timothy, all of Mount Ayr and Devon CARTWRIGHT of
Shawnee, KS were present. Doyle and Laura's third child, Dick (Ann) BAKER, were unable to attend because of a wedding.
Elmer and Mary Jo BAKER were unable to attend because Elmer has had open-heart surgery, but Elmer's daughter, Dixie
BAKER, of Lamoni was present. Joyce BAKER WARD and Jim's youngest daughter, Sarah and Bret WALLACE, Taylor and Justin
of Maryville, MO; Laura and Josh PARMAN, Caleb, Daniel and Rebecca of Ravenwood, MO were present. The remaining of the
afternoon was spent in the home of Iona TRIGGS with a pizza party in the evening.
