H. B. PATRICK

Home of H. B. PATRICK

H. B. PATRICK is the son of Harmon and Matilda PATRICK. His father died five years ago. His mother died when he was three years old. He was born in Ringgold County, Iowa, October 29, 1856. He was married February 9, 1877 to Miss Jennie FARMER, daughter of James FARMER deceased. Mrs. PATRICK was born November 5, 1860 in Monroe County, Iowa. They have three children living and one dead. William E., was born Nov. 25, 1877, is married and lives in Ringgold County, Iowa. Charles, born March 25, 1882, is also married and lives in the same county. Mabel C., born Nov. 3, 1884, lives at home.

Mr. PATRICK lived on a farm with his father until married when he began farming for himself. His father gave him 40 acres and he bought adjoining land. He lived in the same township in Ringgold County until March 1908, when he came to Grundy County, buying the J. S. LEOSIRE farm on Route six near Grundy Center where he now lives. He has a well kept farm of eighty seven and one half acres and a good home. He was township trustee for a number of years in Iowa.
