ROSS DRAPER

Ross DRAPER, journalist, publisher, legislator was born April 2, 1879, in Mt. Ayr, Iowa. He was educated in the public schools of his native county; and graduated from the high school of Mt. Ayr, Iowa. He learned the journalistic trade in the office of Twice-A-Week News at Mount Ayr, Iowa; also worked in the office of Record at Mount Ayr, Iowa and at Boomerang, Laramie, Wyo. He has atained prominence in journalism; is now editor and manager of the Rawlins Republican of Rawlins, Wyo.; and is prominently identified with the business and public affairs of his city, county and state. He served with distinction as a representative in the ninth Wyoming state legislature; served as a member on several important committees; and resides in Rawlins, Wyo.
