I'm looking for information on my ggrandparents Jesse James Munson & Margaret Mary Munson. Jesse I believe was born around Plover and raised in the same area. They were married 19 Sep. 1900 either in Plover or West Bend Iowa. My question is what are the names of Jesses' parents I've asked all the family I have left and no one seems to know. If anyone could help me I would be very appreciate. Birth dates Jesse 10, Nov 1873 Margarets' 17 Nov. 1883 both died in L.A. ca 1958 & 1956 respectively.

Geetings,
I am interested in having a lookup done for me in regards to my grandfather "Frank McCullum". I am trying to find any information about him, his parents and or siblings that is available. He was born in Havelock Iowa on May 22 1890 (?) there is some question to the exact date. When he was quite young his mother and possibly father were killed. It may have been a house fire or an illness.
He was raised by a family named Debolt, Aris and Mabel (Ludington) Debolt. He also had at least 1 brother possibly two, one by the name of Raymond McCullum and another possibly called William or Willie. There may have also been sisters, possibly a Faith and or a Suzy.
I have found records of Raymond McCullum in Emmetsburg in Palo Alto County. Raymond and my grandfather Frank were both in WW1. Ray married a lady by the first name of Coleta and they had two children William R and Madeline. Frank married an Iva Alice Eccles of Burlington Kansas, not sure when or where, sometime in the early 1900’s They had two children Doris Lorene and Richard Dale, my mother and uncle who were born in Gilmore City, Humboldt co. in 1921 and1922. My grandfather stayed close to the area, I am assuming because he was raised in the area and also there may have been relatives nearby.
The family did move to St Peter, Minnesota when my mother was a child not sure when, though maybe during the depression, I believe they owned a farm somewhere around Havelock or Gilmore City. My mother has some recollection of a name of a John McCullum. John may have been my grandfathers middle name or his fathers name. His mothers maiden name may have been Ludington This also is unclear.
Mostly I am searching for his parents names, where they died, and were the were born. I at one time had a newspaper article about my grandfather going to live with Aris and Mabel Debolt. It burnt up in a house fire in 1983. If I recollect right it was from somewhere in Iowa, 1894 or so. It said Franks parents were killed in a house fire and that he was going to live with an aunt and uncle (Aris and Mabel Debolt) but it has been almost twenty years now and I am not exactly sure that is what it said. A cousin of mine says this is not correct. But I did have the article at one time.
She says my great grandmother was killed by an illness and that the children were farmed out and the father left to find work elsewhere. I am not sure where her info came from but it may be correct, I am not sure one way or the other. Any mention of any McCullums you have in Pocahontes Co. in the late 1800's would be appreciated.
I haven't found anything in my books but will keep an eye open. Tim 10-5-02
