The officers of the Freshman Class have chosen the first week in the month of December as the annual freshman week.  The class will conduct assembly programs and edit the Gleam as a freshman issue and will have one all class social evening. The five commissioners of the class who are conducting the events and who act as the officers are LeRoy Kerney, Norman Knosp, Helen Spong, Shirley Bledsoe and Bernice Henning.

With the football season closed, Coach Crayne is working with the basketball men who will play a heavy schedule of eighteen games this season. The old gymnasium will be used until the new floor is ready.  About half of the new floor is laid and in several weeks should be ready for class use and basketball practice.
