CERTIFICATE OF ADMISSION TO HIGH SCHOOL, July 12, 1929. "I was going through some more things this morning and found my mother's Certificate of Admission to High School. I didn't remember anything about it, so was surprised when I saw it. Isn't it amazing what our parents had to go through in order to get an education? My mother did go on to high school. However, she had to go to Sioux City and board with a relative. She quit with about two credits to go before graduating as she was so homesick. She had seven children and then went back to school to get her high school diploma. Doris"
