FOUR GENERATIONS AT MARY WALSH HOME

Three James E. Walsh’s, James E. Sr., and wife; James E. Jr. and wife and James E. III, arrived Thursday morning from Chicago for a visit with the great-grandmother, Mrs. Mary Walsh, 520 First street SW. Mrs. Mary Walsh is 88 and this is the first time she saw her great grandchild, James E. II, 19 months old. James E. Jr. is an ensign in the Navy and is stationed at Westerly, R.I., where he is aerology officer and assistant operations officer.

HONORED AT FAMILY REUNION SUNDAY

A family reunion was held Sunday, Sept. 14, at the Municipal park in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Raber of Spokane, Wash., who are visiting Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Walsh in LeMars and other relatives.

Those attending were Mr. and Mrs. John Beardsley and Johnnie, of Onawa; Mr. and Mrs. Royden Raber, Carthage, S.D.; Mr. and Mrs. Ed Raber , Madison, S.D.;

Mr. and Mrs. H. E. Johnson and John Raber, Sioux City; Raymond Raber, Joanne and Rodney, of Hartley;

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Walsh, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Walsh, Vicky and Barbara Jo., Mr. and Mrs. Gil Berkenpas, Carol and Connie and Mr. and Mrs. Cecile Walsh, all of LeMars.

Following a picnic dinner served at noon, an informal afternoon of visiting and games was enjoyed by all the guests.
