99 HERE FOR REUNION OF NEMMERS FAMILY AT CLEVELAND PARK

Ninety-nine descendants of the late Mr. and Mrs. Peter Nemmers, long time LeMars residents, were present for the family reunion and picnic at Cleveland park Sunday afternoon, June 17.

A picnic dinner was served at noon and the members of the family participated in races, baseball games and horse shoe pitching during the afternoon.

Four of the Nemmers’ ten children, two sons-in-law and a daughter-in-law attended the reunion.  They are Mrs. Geniveve Traufler of Longview, Wash., Mrs. Jake Wagner of Ashton, Iowa, and Mr. and Mrs. Leo Nemmers, Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Reuter and N.W. Wiltgen, all of LeMars.
There are 46 grandchildren and 75 great-grandchildren.  Of this group attending were Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Moir and family of Orange City, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Wiltgen and family of Sioux City, Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Reuter and family of Merrill.

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Wiltgen and family of Remsen, Mr. and Mrs. Doyle Miller of Sheldon and Mr. and Mrs. Donald Wagner, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Wagner and Mr. and Mrs. Walter Wagner, all of Sibley.

Present from LeMars were Miss Mary Lou Nemmers, Miss Helen Wiltgen, Marvin Nemmers, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Wiltgen and family, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Wiltgen and family.

Mr. and Mrs. Cyril Wiltgen and family, Mr. and Mrs. Chris Hirsch and family, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Rueter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Roger Rueter and family.

Mr. and Mrs. William Rueter and family and Mr. and Mrs. Bill Newbrand.
