KRESS REUNION

A Kress family reunion was held at Riverside park in Sioux City on Sunday, August 29, which also celebrated the 77th birthday of Mrs. Katie Lehmann, of Merrill.

Those attending were:  Wm. Karley; Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Karley and family; Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Lehmann and daughter; Mr. and Mrs. George Lehmann and family; Mr. and Mrs. Vincent Shea; Mrs. Martha Trometer and family; Mrs. Carne Swisher, and

Mrs. Ed. McKee and family; Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Theisen and family; Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Mummert and daughter; Mr. and Mrs. Jan Farley and family; Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Kolker and daughter; Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Singer and family, and

Mrs. Elmer Karley, Jr.; Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Marienau and family; Mr. and Mrs. Merlin Trometer and daughter; Mr. and Mrs. George Trometer and family; Mr. and Mrs. Norman Gross.

A picnic lunch was enjoyed by everyone.

The afternoon was spent in playing cards, horseshoes, baseball and croquet.

KRESS REUNION

Kress family reunion was held on Sunday, August 26th.  A lovely picnic lunch, horseshoe playing and swimming was enjoyed by all.  Also celebrated< Mrs. Katie Lehmann, 79th birthday.

Those present beside Mrs. Lehmann were:  Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Lehmann; Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Lehmann and family; Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Karley and family; Mr. and Mrs. Walter Karley and family;

Mrs. Carrie Swisher; Mrs. Martha Trometer and son; Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Trometer; and,

Mr. and Mrs. Vincent Shea and Johnnie; Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Mummert and daughter; and Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Held and son; Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Karley, Jr. and daughter; Mr. and Mrs. Roy Weed and daughter; Mr. and Mrs. Larry Karley; Mr. and Mrs. Bob Olson; Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Swisher and son.

The reunion will be held next year the last Sunday in August.
