George Washington Burrill (January 17, 1836 -- December 23, 1924) and Martha (Austin) Burrill (October 18, 1837--February 6, 1913), taken in LeMars, photo date unknown.  George and Martha married in Dubuque, (Dubuque), Iowa where they farmed and all eleven of their children were born.  They moved to Johnson Township, (Plymouth), Iowa in 1883 and farmed 160 acres there until retiring in 1902, when they sold the farm and moved to LeMars. 

From the Burrill Family Bible, originally belonging to George Washington and Martha (Austin) Burrill.  This page records their wedding information.  Transcription:  This certifies that George W. Burrill of Dubuque, Iowa and Martha Austin of Dubuque, Iowa were united by me in the bonds of holy matrimony at Dubuque, Iowa on the 31st day of January in the year of our Lord 1856.  In presence of Mr. & Mrs. John Austin and Mr. & Mrs. Geo. Burrill.  Signed--Henry Wm. Reed, Elder.     (The Mr. and Mrs. George Burrill who were witnesses were George W.'s father and step-mother.  The elder Burrills are buried at the Adaville Cemetery.)  

George Henry Burrill and Mary Jane Tullis, married April 28, 1889 at Neville Redmon's home in America Township, (Plymouth), Iowa.  They farmed in Johnson and Liberty townships before moving to Union township in 1908.

Walter and Pearl (Burrill) Grebner were married March 27, 1912 at Adaville, (Plymouth), Iowa. (Photo date unknown) Walter farmed in Johnson township and Pearl was a school teacher.
