Frank Flynn family, Plymouth Co., IA, photographs donated by Patricia Anderson, Hanley Falls, MN

Some pictures are large and may take a while to download

"The first two photos are of my Dad's brother, Joseph Flynn. Joe Flynn was born in Plymouth County in 1910. He served in WW II. He died in Sioux City 1960. Joe was a bachelor and was buried at Oyens beside his parents."

This is actually a photocopy and is the only photo that exists of Frank Flynn. He was the father of Cecil & Joseph Flynn and he died in the summer of 1914-just two weeks before Cecil's 10th birthday.

"The photo below is my brother Bill." Bill could be seen around Merrill with his Mom in the fall of 1939 looking like he does here in this snapshot. Dad was working on the Great Northen Railroad and often had to work away from home which left his young wife to look after home and family.

Bill was laid to rest in Lompoc, CA on 20 Feb 2008. Bill was a son of Cecil Flynn and Marjorie Rush Flynn.
