Buried in Merrill-Stanton Cemetery with 2nd wife.
 
His parents were Johann and Catherina Fluck, both born in Hessen Darmstadt, Germany. Johann & Catharina Fluck immigrated from Hessen-Darmstadt, Germany leaving Le Havre, France on 24 Aug 1842 aboard the ship "Sully." The family settled in Richfield, Wisconsin, where it is assumed Johann & Catharina died.

Their children include: Eva b. 7-8-1833 d. 11-25-1896, Johann b. 1834 d. 3-2-1908 buried in Cedar Park Cemetery, Richfield, WI; Philip b. 10-12-1836 d. 5-22-1912 buried in Merrill-Stanton Cemetery, Plymouth County, IA; Catharina b. 1843.

Augusta Hatzig Blank married Philip Fluck in Wisconsin in 1868. Augusta had previously been married to John Blank and had a son, Charles, born in 1864 with him. In 1874, Philip and Augusta Fluck moved to Stanton township, Plymouth county, Iowa. In 1887, they moved to the town of LeMars, where Philip had a grocery store and a furniture store.
