A very pretty wedding was held at the M. E. church here last Wednesday evening when Mr. Wilbert Reeves and Miss Cynthia Hemstra (sic--Heemstra) were made man and wife.  The church was tastefully decorated with sweet peas and asparagus.  The bridal party was heralded by the wedding march which was played by Miss Jessie Reeves a sister of the groom and promptly at 7:30 o'clock they took their places before the altar.  The impressive service of the M. E. church was rendered by Rev. W. F. Gleason.  The bride was attended by her sister Miss Dora and the groom by his brother Clarence.  The bride was becomingly dressed in a gown of white monselline de soie and the bridesmaid was attired in a dress of white persian lawn.  Both the groom and best man wore the conventional black.  After the wedding the guests repaired to the home of the bride where a reception was held from 8:30 to 12 o'clock p.m. (actually a. m.--midnight)
