In an attic of a Montana farmhouse we found a box of memoirs including a
letter dated 1879 for some members of the Milligan family, also a type of
funeral card for a Mark M Milligan, died Sep 8, 1903.

The letter was from a LuLu Wolfe of Clarinda Page, Iowa, to Ella Milligan,
dated Aug 5, 1879, and includes a tiny lock of braided brown hair.

Just in case you know any of this family.

July 18, 2007 Greetings from Alabama.
My mothers family is originally from Page County..Her father was Ora Farrens and Mother was Birdie E. Stapleton.
My mother (Vesper Z. Farrens Lechtenberger) just recently passed away and I have been going through her things and found some very helpful information. Several obituaries my grandmother had saved. I found that W.B.EDMONDS was her great grandfather.. I am trying to find more information on any EDMONDS that lived in Page County to see if they are related to my W.B.EDMONDS (wILKERSON bURKE).
If you have the bio's for A.Edmonds and/or Thomas A. Edmonds. I would appreciated having them posted to the biography web page
Thank You,

WRIGHT, Archibald G.
Looking for information on this son of George Washington & Sarah Elizabeth (Curl) Wright. Archibald was born on 21 Feb 1877 in Page County, IA. Leonard Wright and Clara J (Wright) Brown were two of his siblings that remained in Clarinda. It is my belief that Archibald married the ex-wife of his brother Leonard. Her name is Leota Gay Robert's. She is buried next to Leonard but I cannot find the location of the burial of Archibald.
Any help or information on Archibald would be greatly appreciated. Please feel free to email me directly.

Thank you

Hi,
I have been looking for other descendents of Eden Burson. My great great grandfather was George W. Burson.
I have found on the Page County Web site that a Lee Burson died Nov. 20, 1940, Iowa State Hospital. I know from an obit for Rebecca Iiames that she was survived by brother Lee (probably Jesse L.) from Clarinda, dtd. 1920 (copy attached). I believe he is my best chance to find other descendents. I found today this in your obit page(Burson, Jessie Rae died1991 M sb1359 (2))
I wonder if he might have been a descendent.
Your Fremont and Page county websites are outstanding with and immense amount of info.
Thank you for any help you can give to find other descendents.
