Marriage license photocopy policy of the Monroe County Recorder

Iowa code prohibits the recorders office from processing requests by phone. Requests can only be made for certified photocopies of marriage records and must be made in writing and mailed to the recorders office, specifying the complete identification of the record and accompanied by a nonrefundable $10.00 check or
money order. A certified copy of the record, or a certified notification of record not found will be returned to the requester.
