OBITUARY
BUTLER
O.E. Butler, living in Washington township, west of Haines' grove and near LaMoile, died this morning, at the age of 64 years, of inflammation of the bowels, after a week's illness. The funeral will be from the residence at 2 p.m. Thursday, and interment at LaMoile. Deceased had been a resident of Marshall county twenty-six years, was one of the rugged pioneers of the west and went to California overland with the memorable '49ers. He leaves a wife and three grown children, besides a host of true friends. One brother, Alonzo, lives at Bromley.
