Thank you to the following volunteers who have offered to do lookups for Mahaska County researchers:

Peggy will do lookups from the Oskaloosa High School yearbooks from 1920, 1923, 1925, 1926, 1927, 1936; Wm. Penn College 1920, 1921 yearbook, and Mahaska Co. IA WWII Veterans book. Peggy can you contact the coordinator with your e-mail address?   

Cris Nagla has a copy of the 1924 Oskaloosa High School yearbook for anyone that wants information or copies of pictures from it.

Birth Records:  1880 thru 1908 and A “Delayed Birth Book for those that needed to obtain a birth certificate.  These all have different date ranges.

Death Records:  1880 thru July, 1958

Funeral Home Records:  1882 thru 1997

WPA Burial Records:  Made by volunteers for all Mahaska County Cemeteries.  They walked the cemeteries and took off what information they could locate.  Most of these are earlier than 1880 and dates vary.
