Corporal Beelman was a member of Company L., 3rd Battalion, 31st Infantry Regiment, 7th Infantry Division. He was listed as Missing in Action while fighting the enemy at Eastern Shore, Chosin Reservoir, North Korea on or about December 2, 1950. He was presumed dead on December 31, 1953. DOD records cite December 12, 1950, as date of loss, but due to the internal chaos within the unit due to high losses, it is impossible without eyewitness confirmation to have a specific date of actual loss. By December 12, 1950, the unit was in reserve in the Hamhung-Hungnam area. Reported DOD last known home of record - Donnellson, Iowa.

Private Dinwiddie was a member of the 27th Infantry Regiment, 25th Infantry Division. He was seriously wounded by the enemy in South Korea (Pusan Perimeter Southwest battle zone, Chindong-NI area) on September 2, 1950 and died of those wounds on September 2, 1950.

Staff Sergeant Hoenes was a member of Weapons Company, 2nd Battalion, 1st Marines, 1st Marine Division. He was Killed in Action while fighting the enemy at Bunker Hill, Western Outposts, Korea on August 26, 1952. He was known as "Tommy." Tommy was adopted and joined the Marine Corps just after graduating high school.

Corporal Le Matty was a member of Battery A, 63rd Field Artillery Battalion, 24th Infantry Division. He was taken Prisoner of War while fighting the enemy along the Kum River at Samgyo-ri, South Korea on July 14, 1950, forced to march to North Korea on the "Tiger Death March," and died during the march between Manpo and Chunggang-jin, North Korea on November 1, 1950.

Corporal Piersee was a member of Company D, 8th Engineer Combat Battalion, 1st Cavalry Division. He was taken Prisoner of War while fighting as infantry at Kasan, Hill 902, Taegu area, South Korea on September 4, 1950 and died while a prisoner on March 20, 1951.

Private First Class Washburn was a member of Company I, 3rd Battalion, 7th Marines, 1st Marine Division. He was seriously wounded while fighting the enemy at Western Outposts, Korea and died of those wounds on November 6, 1952.
