ALBERT C. GEESEKA DIES

MUELLER, SPECHT, MILLER, LOGAN, and HOUSEHOLDER

AT HOME OF DAUGHTER

Albert C. (Giesecke) Geeseka, 81. a well known resident of Lee county died, Saturday afternoon 15 Sep 1934, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Earl Mueller, who resides north­east of Donnellson. Death followed a short illness.

Deceased was horn January 31, 1853 near West Point and has lived in this county all of his life, having been engaged in farming, prior to Ins retirement a few yearn ago. He was married to Miss Catherine Specht and to this union four daughters and six sons born.

Surviving are the following children. Mrs. Emma Miller, Cedar Rapids; Mrs. W. L. Logan, Burlington; Mrs. Clara Mueller, Donnellson; Mrs Sadie Householder, Bonaparte; William F., George R., Otto H., and Harvey I. Geeseka He is also survived by one sister, Mrs. George W. Blacksmith, of near West Point, and 19 grand­children.

Short funeral services for the fam­ily and immediate friends were held at the Agnew funeral home in Donnellson Wednesday afternoon and church services were held the same afternoon at the Evangelical church in Franklin with burial in the city cemetery here (West Point, Iowa).
