Meetings are held the Second Tuesday of each month except December when no meeting is held.

Membership to the Society is from January 1st to December 31st
$10.00 per year
Six bi-monthly newsletters with some double in size depending on what we are featuring.

Towns of Ida County are;
Arthur, Ida Grove, Holstein, Galva, Battle Creek

Townships are;
Douglas, Griggs, Galva, Battle, Logan, Silver Creek, Maple,
Corwin, Blaine, Garfield, Grant and Hayes

Lookups are done in the Courthouse records, newspapers, books on Ida County, County History Books-Centennial, misc. scrapbooks with obituaries, census records of Ida County and cemetery records. We also have some church records available for research.

Fees for doing research are postage costs for mailing, 25 cents a page for copying, and donation for our time, the amount is up to the individual what they would like to give.
