and by 1906 there were a total of 9 in the township. A Church, Trinity Lutheran was
organized in 1870 and a church built in 1889, this being on the NW corner of Section 36,
this was a faithful church until 1969 when a tornado came through and did so much damage
that the church closed. The church cemetery is
still maintained and burials still take place in this peaceful cemetery. One of the schoolhouses which was
built in 1884 was moved to |
