Funeral services for Darlene Stauffer were held at 3:00 p.m. Monday, September 25, at the Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories, Cedar Rapids. Interment was in Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. The Rev. Jay Jentink officiated. Cedar Memorial Funeral Home handled the arrangements.

Darlene, 64, dial Thursday, September 21, 2000 at Manor Care after a long illness. ,

Darlene E. Stauffer was born April 28, 1936 in Havelock, the daughter of James and Esther (Sendelweck) Snow.

On May 17, 1958 she married Raymond K. Stauffer in Cedar Rapids.   

Darlene was a cook and baker at Bishops Buffet for 17 years.

She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Christian Business and Professional Women, and Survivors of Cancer Club.

Darlene loved working in her flower garden and caring for her two dogs, Brandy and Sheena.

She is survived by her father and step-mother James and Doreen Snow of Cresco; one sister: Donna Brunner of Tempe, AZ; two half brothers: Dale and Gary Snow both of Cresco; and two step-brothers: Edwin and Merlin; and two stepsisters: Linda and Hazel.    .'

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1997; her mother; and three brothers: Earl, Jeny and LeRoy.
