Rosie Krutsinger, 87

Rosie Krutsinger, 87, formerly of Riceville, Iowa passed away on

Wednesday, June 14, 2000 at the Rockwell Nursing Home in Rockwell, Iowa.

Funeral services were Monday, June 19, 2000 at the Riceville United Methodist Church in Riceville with Pastor Deborah Stowers officiating. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery in Riceville.

Rosie Clara Krutsinger (Linderkamp) was born to Herman H. and Lulu F. Otto Linderkamp on August 18, 1912 in Grant County, Milbank, S.D. She lived and attended school in South Dakota until 1923 when her parents moved the family to a farm south "of Rockford, Iowa where she continued her schooling. She worked out, in many private homes and at Marshall Swift in Mason City, Mercy Hospital in Mason City, Memorial Hospital in Osage and the Riceville Hospital in Riceville. Rosie also had roomers in her home since 1936.

On July 9, 1958 she was united in marriage to Charles Howard Krutsinger. No children were bqrn to this union. They moved to a farm south of Riceville on February 14, 1961 which Rosie bought. Howard passed away on Sept. 20, 1967 with cancer. Rosie then sold her farm and bought a home in Riceville.

Survivors include: one brother, Earl L. Linderkamp of Lisbon, N.D. and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Howard in 1967, three sisters: Emma, Edna and Ella; and one brother, Albert Linderkamp.
